Brittany's Hair is a private hair studio at 1628 San Marco Blvd #1, Jacksonville, FL 32207. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and the services connected to it, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have written it to describe what actually happens, not more.
Information you give us
Contact form. When you send a note through our contact page we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in, a preferred date, how you heard about us, your Instagram handle if you add it, and your message. For spam protection we also record the time of the submission, your IP address and browser type. Submissions are stored on our website server and emailed to the studio. We use them to reply to you and, if you book, to prepare for your visit.
Phone, text and email. If you call, text or email us, we keep the details needed to respond and to keep a record of your inquiry.
Booking, payments and appointment messages
Appointments are booked through our booking site, which is provided by GlossGenius. When you book, GlossGenius collects your name, contact details, appointment details and a payment card, which is required to hold an online booking. Card details are collected and stored by GlossGenius, not by this website; we never see or store your full card number. GlossGenius sends appointment confirmations, reminders, receipts and review requests by email and text on our behalf, and we may send occasional studio news and offers through it. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message and stop marketing texts by replying STOP. GlossGenius's handling of your information is described in the GlossGenius privacy policy.
If you choose financing through Cherry, you leave this website and provide your information directly to Cherry under the Cherry privacy policy.
Analytics and advertising
This website uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion tracking. These services set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser (for example _ga and _gcl_au) and collect information such as the pages you view, the links you click (including our booking and phone links), your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device and browser type. We use this to understand how the website is used and to measure whether our Google advertising leads to bookings and calls. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy; you can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
This website does not currently display a cookie consent banner. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and manage personalized advertising in your Google Ads settings.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that run the studio and this website: GlossGenius (booking, payments and appointment messages), Google (analytics and advertising measurement, as described above), our website host and our email provider, and with authorities when the law requires it. Photos of your hair are shared on our website or social media only with your consent.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of inquiries. Client and appointment records live in GlossGenius for as long as you are a client. You can ask us to correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us; we will do so unless we need to keep a record for accounting, tax or legal reasons.
Security
This website is served over HTTPS, and contact-form submissions are stored in a location that is not accessible from the web. Payments are handled entirely by GlossGenius. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
